I know i haven't blogged for awhile but life is basically ridiculous right now! So i'll show you some of what i've been up to....

Awesome School stuff! We had a cooking compitition against the advance class that are about to graduate, and here were some of the 8 courses we made in two hours! I didn't get pictures of theirs because... they weren't that great ; ) haha just kidding. They did a very good job and made more food then us, with less people... but i think that stretched them thin, and there wasn't anything too special about their dishes. I thought ours turned out colorful and creative. There was no winner because the chef's didn't judge it which was a little dissapointing...
Which one do you think looks the coolest? and why? And can you guess which one I personally did? :D
We also got the opportunity to do an event at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We got to cook in the kitchens that they cook in for The Roof and The Garden resturaunts that are up on the 10th floor! It was really neat because we were actually cooking for some of the people that worked there, some even worked in the kitchens there. We also got to go on a tour of the Lion House where they make all their delicious rolls! Here is an awesomely beautiful view of the Salt Lake Temple from the 10th floor of the JSMB.

you must ask to learn to make good sushi, i will eat lots of sushi when i visit Utah, i like the steak looking entree Thanks ~Adam

I haven't learned to make sushi yet, they do that alot alot in my next cooking class, i will make you as much as you want as soon as i learn. i'm not sure how good i'll be at it seeing as i'm not a huge fan of seafood...
the steak entree was really yummy, personally i thought it was a bit undercooked... but thats just me. they also made fried leek rings to go with it and those are my new favorite snack! mmmmmm.... btw, this wasn't the dish i worked on
All of that food looks delicious! I was watching the show Top Chef today and it made me think of you. I also like your cake. Are you gonna make it? AND I'm jealous of your hair... :)
lol. yea i'm making it. but its going to be all fondant, but thats the basic idea of what i want. i like my hair too but it's so long! pain in the butt
